Welcome to the Ethics Channel implemented at MAC Insular S.L. following the entry into force of Law 2/2023, of 20 February, regulating the protection of persons who report regulatory infringements and the fight against corruption.
The Ethics Channel is integrated into MAC Insular S.L.'s information system and will be governed by the principles regulated in the aforementioned Law, especially regarding confidentiality and protection against possible reprisals.
In accordance with the provisions of articles 4 and 5 b) of the aforementioned Law, through this channel the person responsible for its management will receive and manage, with the guarantees of protection for the Whistleblower provided for by the Law, the following communications:
Those of inquiry and/or reporting of possible irregular or unlawful conduct that they may have witnessed or become aware of and that are contrary to company rules, both internal and external, which until now were channelled through canaletico@mac-insular.com.
Conduct of discrimination, harassment and/or violence of which one is a victim, witness or becomes aware, which until now were channelled through the HR Department. Special attention is paid to conduct of discrimination, harassment and/or violence based on sexual orientation, gender identity and/or gender expression.
All communications submitted through the corresponding form, accessible from the corporate website.
Information Management Procedure.
The submission of information through this channel initiates the information management procedure, under the responsibility of the person responsible for the system, who must perform their functions independently and autonomously from the rest of the entity's bodies. The Company's Board of Directors has appointed the Compliance Officer as responsible for managing the aforementioned channel.
Among the measures to protect the whistleblower, the possibility of submitting information anonymously, or waiving communication with the person responsible for the system after submitting the information, stand out.
In any case, this channel guarantees the protection of the whistleblower's identity and the confidentiality of the information.
