MAC Insular S.L. has received a grant of €2,900 for the acquisition—via a leasing arrangement—of an electric vehicle. This initiative falls under the MOVES III 2025 Program for the Balearic Islands, which is funded by the European Union through NextGenerationEU funds and forms part of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan.
The incentive program for efficient and sustainable mobility is driven by the Ministry for the Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge, through the Institute for Diversification and Saving of Energy (IDAE), and is managed in the Balearic Islands by the Department of Business, Self-Employment and Energy of the Government of the Balearic Islands.
This initiative aims to promote sustainable mobility, reduce fossil fuel consumption, and lower greenhouse gas emissions associated with the company's operations.
