MAC Insular has obtained AENOR certifications for its Quality Management System based on ISO 9000, Environmental Management System based on ISO 14001, and Information Security Management System based on ISO 27001, as well as CE Marking for aggregates. All certifications are available in our Downloads section.

Likewise, MAC Insular is committed to a qualified and dedicated human team, and its commitment is to offer its employees a Company that allows personal and professional development.

Furthermore, MAC Insular advocates for exemplary conduct that guides the organization's behavior and shows its firm commitment to the provisions of the Penal Code and any applicable regulations.

  • The Quality and Environmental Policy of MAC Insular as a concessionaire company of the public service for the management of construction, demolition, bulky waste and end-of-life tires on the Island of Mallorca is based on the principles of excellence, social responsibility and continuous improvement.

    To this end, MAC Insular commits to:

    • Quality and respect for the Environment being a priority objective and management model.
    • Developing all activities within a framework of protection and respect for the environment, planning proper management of Construction, Demolition, Bulky and End-of-life Tire Waste, and identifying and evaluating the environmental aspects of our activities, in order to prevent possible negative impacts.
    • Assessing the needs and expectations of our customers and stakeholders, to achieve their satisfaction.
    • Complying with applicable legislation and regulations, as well as established requirements.
    • Promoting continuous improvement in all areas of the company, allocating the necessary resources to meet the set objectives.
    • Identifying the training needs of our human team so that they can correctly perform all their work, in order to guarantee the quality of services.
    • Periodically reviewing and evaluating compliance with the objectives and actions defined by the company aimed at supporting the commitment to continuous improvement.
    • Developing and maintaining an integrated management system in accordance with UNE-EN-ISO 9001 (Quality) and UNE-EN-ISO 14001 (Environment), which addresses the activity of managing construction, demolition, bulky waste and end-of-life tires.

    This Policy is mandatory for all MAC Insular personnel.
    Our goal is to meet the needs and even exceed the expectations that the Administration and society have placed on us.

  • The purpose of this Information Security Management Policy is to protect MAC Insular's information assets.

    It is MAC Insular's policy to ensure that:

    • Information is protected against loss of availability, confidentiality and integrity.
    • Information is protected against unauthorized access.
    • Applicable legal requirements are met.
    • Business requirements regarding information and information systems security are met.
    • Procedures are established to comply with the ISMS Policy.
    • The ISMS manager will be responsible for maintaining this policy, procedures and providing support in its implementation.
    • Each employee is responsible for complying with this Policy and its procedures as applicable to their job.
    • Every employee has the obligation to report any security incident.
    • Security incidents are handled appropriately.
    • It is MAC Insular's policy to implement, maintain and monitor the ISMS, promoting continuous improvement and allocating the necessary resources to meet the information security objectives set.
    • The policy is aligned with the company's risk strategy.

    This policy has been approved by MAC Insular's Management and will be reviewed annually.

  • SELECTION: We adapt our selection processes to the profiles set by our Quality standards. We work to incorporate into our workforce the professionals who best fit those profiles.

    TRAINING: Understood as a continuous process in the worker's working life and adapted to the business strategy. To this end, each year we develop a Training Plan designed to improve the preparation and training of our staff.

    PREVENTION: It is a priority for the Company to guarantee the best safety and health conditions for its workers, and for this we have two external prevention services and a prevention coordinator. Our workers contribute to success and proper functioning in this area through their daily work.

  • Compliance is part of our culture as an organization and of our strategic objectives. It is not only compliance with applicable legislation and internal company regulations. It is our way of working.

    In December 2017, the Company's Board of Directors approved a Code of Ethics and a Criminal Risk Prevention Manual, as well as appointed a Compliance Officer, who together with a Support Team ensures the effectiveness of control rules and procedures.

    In this regard, the company expresses its commitment to zero tolerance towards conduct that may imply regulatory non-compliance, corrupt practices or any other form of crime, unethical behavior or professional misconduct.

    For the purpose of channeling any query or complaint regarding Compliance, the company has enabled an Ethics Channel, in accordance with the provisions of Law 2/2023, of February 20, regulating the protection of persons who report regulatory infractions and the fight against corruption.
